Pronouns: He, She and They

After the lesson, the students should be able to
1. know the difference between He, She and They
2. memorize at least five verbs
3. and make simple sentences.

These are the sentences in the presentation:
She is singing.
They are dancing.
He is jumping.
She is eating.
He is sleeping.
They are reading.
He is writing.
He is swimming.
They are playing.
  • You can play guessing games and ask the students to guess what you're doing.
  • Repetition is the key! I always ask them to repeat after me until they memorize.
  • Evaluation is important. Worksheets are helpful in assessing if the students have learned.

It is, They are

I made this presentation for pre-school.

After the lesson the students must be able to:
1. use "it is" and "they are"
2. tell the different kinds of taste (sweet, sour, salty and bitter)
3. and make simple sentences

It's like two lessons in one. ;)

Farm animals

These are the animals I included in this presentation:
1. chicken
2. pig
3. horse
4. cow
5. dog
6. cat
7. goat
8. duck
9. sheep
10. mouse
11. rabbit

You can use songs like "Old McDonald had a farm", and "The animals on the Farm"

“Old MacDonald Had A Farm”
Old MacDonald had a farm, E I E I O.
And on this farm he had a pig, E I E I O
With an oink, oink, here and an oink, oink there.
Everywhere an oink, oink.
Old MacDonald had a farm, E I E I O.

(Continue singing about other farm animals)
Cow – moo, moo
Horse – neigh, neigh
Duck – quack, quack
Sheep – baa, baa

I used finger puppets in introducing the animals, at the last part, I let them make their own.

Basic Classroom Commands

I used this presentation for my pre-school class. Pre-school students have very short attention span so I usually spend the time, watching videos, singing and dancing. I used the "Teddy Bear Song" and "Five Little Monkeys" in teaching some of the commands.

These are the commands I included in this presentation:
1. Stand up
2. Sit down
3. Clap your hands
4. Stamp your feet
5. Turn around
6. Jump

Of course they already know how to do those things, the challenge for EFL teachers is to know the native language of the students and translate it in English.

Resources coming soon!

It's been months since I posted something new. I became so busy making some presentations for my classes. I've been putting so much effort in those presentations because I know that I will use them again in the future. I'm planning to upload some presentations and exercises here. I hope it will help other teachers, especially those who are too busy to make their own presentations.

Let me know if you have requests.

Love,
Teacher Karla
